Seven Mini Coopers, a Harley Davidson motorbike, abseiling Explorer Scouts and a ‘coat of many badges’ joined a cast of 3,000 onstage at LIVE07, the Festival of Scouting.

One hundred hills in a weekend
For a special Centenary challenge, one District laced up their walking boots and climbed 100 hills in a single weekend.

When Oliver, a Cub Scout with 2nd Bramcote Panthers Pack, decided he wanted to complete his Silver Chief Scout’s Award, he decided to do something special to celebrate Scouting’s Centenary as well.

 

 

We want to find out what the Centenary means to you. This could be waking up on Brownsea Island on the 1 August 2007, camping with 50,000 Scouts from around the world or standing in a field under a herd of cows.

This map exists to show as complete a picture as possible the events that are happening across the UK during 2007, to demonstrate the number of unique events and to enable everyone to attend Scouting’s Sunrise on August 1st.
