Summary
This camp on Brownsea Island celebrates the New Centenary between 1-4 August 2007.
Programme/idea
The event follows on from the very successful 'Reloaded' initiaive in 2005. Participants will camp on the original site that B-P used nearly 100 years ago when Scouting began. They will spend three days on the largest camp on Brownsea Island, living and eating with Scouts from across world. As well as trying some of B-P's original camp activities tracking, rafting and coracle making, Scouts will take part in more up-to-date date challenges including a canoe safari, archery, and global development!
Aims and objectives
To help young people experience the past, present and future of Scouting.
Audience
The camp is open to all Scouts between the age of 13 to 18 at the time of the event. The only adult roles are in a staff capacity. For more information please visit http://www.brownsea2007.org/events/newCentenary/
