As part of the Centenary of Scouting a reunion of all those people who attended the last World Jamboree hosted by the United Kingdom will take place. Some 31,000 people took part in the event in Sutton Coldfield in 1957 and there were many more who visited the event on a daily basis. We are able to contact those people who are still connected with Scouting, but would also like to speak with others who attended this life changing event.
A rolling three day tour of 200 people is planned to conicide with next year's centenary events. The Reunion will visit Gilwell Park, the 'spiritual home of Scouting', the 2007 World Jamboree at Hylands Park and Sutton Coldfield the site of the 1957 World Jamboree.
If you attended the Jamboree at Sutton Coldfield and would like to attend the reunion, more details can be obtained from The Scout Information Centre - 0845 300 1818 or online.
