The waters may only be used after assessment by an RYA or BCU Senior Instructor, who shall state the area in which boating is permitted, the type of craft to be used and whether he wishes to personally supervise the activity); (see Note below)
Notes
  • Only Canoes are permitted to enter weir streams
  • Weirs with an antiscour cill are prohibited to all canoes
  • Weirs shall be assessed at the time of use by a BCU Senior Instructor
