- River Thames (Putney Bridge to Richmond Half Tide Lock) (1st April to 31st Oct). There is danger for several days after heavy rain upstream. Beware of moored and moving boats. This stretch of river is tidal
- Grand Union Canal (Brentford Gauging Lock to River Thames). The Thames and Brentford Locks are opened for up to 2½ hours either side of high water. Beware of moored and manoeuvring boats

- The classifications stated above are under "Normal" conditions. The currents on the River Thames can change very quickly after heavy rainfall and the classifications should be upgraded to suit the river conditions at the time of the activity.
- The Weirs at Richmond Half Tide Lock are opened 2 hours before high water and closed 2 hours after high water. Caution should be exercised whilst navigating in this area.
