A Special Chef's Badge for Cub Scouts has just been launched, so it's time to get cracking! Sponsored by Lion Quality egg producers, the Leader packs are free and contain a full colour poster with activity sheets that can be photocopied. For each Cub Scout there's also an 'Easy Eggs' leaflet to take home full of fun ideas.

October is 'Crack an Egg Month' and it kicks off with British Egg Week (3-10 October). To celebrate the launch of the new Chef's Badge and Crack an Egg Month, there is also a smashing competition that Cub Scouts can enter. See the new Scouting magazine (page 81) to find out how one of your Cub Scouts could win a family trip to Centre Parcs and £250 for your Pack!
