Home help badge

This year we have teamed up with Dettol as sponsors of the Cub Scout Home Help Badge. As you will know, this badge tests a Cub Scout’s ability to undertake a number of tasks around the home under adult supervision. These tasks range from making a meal, doing the laundry and cleaning the living room. Each task is designed to cover all areas of running a happy and healthy home, with a parent or guardian signing off completed activity. Supported by Dettol, the badge will introduce the importance of hygiene and cleanliness as well as teaching Cub Scouts some fascinating facts through an interactive booklet they can take home.

On completion of all the tasks, Cub Scouts will be presented with their Home Help badge, a Dettol certificate and a furry germ-busting bug, to reward them for their hard work - parents will be able to put their feet up once in a while, safe in the knowledge that their Cub Scouts can help out around the home!
