Ordnance Survey

Ordnance Survey is a UK Government Agency which is the internationally recognised market leader in its field. It is committed to increasing the use of mapping within schools and youth organisations; making outdoor activities safer and more enjoyable. It offers a wider range of products than any other comparable organisation, from traditional walking maps and road maps to large-scale and digital products. Electronic data now forms over 80% of the agency's turnover which is used by the public and private sector alike.

Interactive Map Explorer Packs containing a land navigation CD Rom (including using a map for walking, compass skills and understanding maps), a national mapping index and an explorer map, are now available from the Information Centre. Go to http://www.sbuk.org.uk/info.centre/catalog.php?cat=55, and select OSMAPACK to place your order.

Other resources for both Cub Scouts, Scouts and Leaders will be available shortly.

Requirements for the Cub Scout Navigator Badge and the Scout Navigator Badge can be found in The Library.
