To make a foil fish fossil, you will need:

• An adult to help you
• A piece of tin foil
• A sheet of card
• Glue
• Card shapes
• Dry leaves
• Tissues or soft cloth

How to do it :

Make sure you ask an adult to help you!

1. Glue the leaves and card shapes to the card.
2. Gently brush some thinned PVA glue over the whole of the picture surface and card.
3. Put a piece of foil which is a bit bigger than the backing card over your picture. Start at the bottom and smooth it down flat.
4. Fold down the edges behind the card.
5. Gently rub all over the surface of the foil with a tissue. A picture of the shape underneath will appear!
