Climate change is one of the biggest challenges we face today. The first step towards tackling the problem is to make sure everyone understands exactly what the challenge is and the difference they could make.
That’s why the Scouts are helping to tell everyone about the problem of climate change and what we can all do about it.

The Green Footprint Award website is now live and accepting registrations. Visit the site to find information about the three stages of the award and to register.
This is a scheme for Scout Groups or individual Sections to prove their green credentials and show they are thinking about the climate change message.
Search for 'climate change' on Programmes Online, where there are already several practical ideas to help young people in your Section understand the issues relating to climate change.

Campaigns: Join our current campaign, Mission: Be Prepared. Become an Energy Agent and help your troop to spread the word about saving energy and tackling climate change.
