Downe has campsites to suit all camping styles and tastes, with large open-field areas complemented by woodland sites. These vary in size, ranging from small camps sited close to the camp centre for younger and less-experienced groups to expansive woodland glades surrounded by trees, ideal for larger groups. We can also cater for the single Patrol (supervised or unsupervised) in small glades.
 
The manager, who lives on site, is always happy to discuss your requirements with you and tailor the on-site facilities to suit your particular event. There is always plenty of wood for fires and you are never far from one of our toilet blocks or a water supply. Open fires are permitted by agreement with the manager.
