Downe is situated at the end of a narrow country lane and car and minibus drivers are advised to drive slowly. Although minibuses have no problem approaching the Centre, unfortunately there is no access for coaches. We have therefore negotiated an agreement with Charles Darwin School for coaches to drop off and pick up from their site. The school field backs onto the Centre and we have gated access from the Centre to the School.
 
Coaches arriving at the school will be met, by prior arrangement with the manager and staff, who will transport the equipment and escort the Group across the school and Centre to their accommodation.
 
By public transport
The site is within easy access of Orpington and Bromley railway stations.
