A beautiful, wooded 86-acre site situated only 16 miles from the centre of London, Downe Activity Centre has welcomed young people from all walks of life and all corners of the world for over 70 years.

Close to Biggin Hill in rural Kent, the Centre is within easy access of two main railway stations at Orpington and Bromley, both a 20-minute train ride into London.

As well as excellent camping facilities, there are three fully equipped accommodation blocks that offer the comforts of home whilst still allowing you to experience the great outdoors.

We offer a wide range of exciting activities on-site, and our fantastic location means that there is also plenty of activities in the surrounding area. These range from a tour of Biggin Hill Airport to testing your downhill technique on a dry ski slope.
