Multi-Activity Programmes for Schools and Colleges
We offer a fantastic opportunity for your students to participate in our one, two or three-day multi-activity programmes that can be individually tailored to meet your needs.
Communication, decision-making, personal achievement and working as part of a team are all skills that will improve students learning, motivation and confidence back in the classroom. As the largest co-educational youth organisation in the United Kingdom, we are ideally placed to offer young people, from 6–25, fun and adventure in an informal educational setting.
Safety is paramount at Gilwell Park and our risk assessments and safety systems are well documented.
Each activity we offer has a number of learning outcomes for participants, view the learning outcome matrix
Participants follow our philosophy of ‘learning by doing’ and our qualified group leaders work directly with between 10 and 12 participants per group to achieve positive learning outcomes. It is our aim to make the experience as fun and exciting as possible.
We can create a unique programme for each and every group. Activities available include:
Climbing, canoeing, High ropes course (2 elements available - The Gilwell Trapeze and The All Aboard), jump mats, mission impossible, bridge building, orienteering, archery, crate stacking, revolving climbing wall, rifle shooting, swimming, pedal go carts, It’s a knock out, team challenge, grass sledging, hikes, open-fire cooking, 3G swing and zip wire.

'Having returned to a less than sunny school this week, I have finally found a spare ten minutes to write a thank you for the outstanding service your team provided.
The facilities at Gilwell Park are fantastic, and we were certainly blessed by four days of glorious weather. The tents were first rate, and clearly well maintained. The dining facilities were excellent: I have never been on a school trip when youngsters ate with the appetite that they did whilst at your centre. The staff particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfasts!
However, what stood out above all else was the quality of each of your staff. On every activity, leaders were courteous, sensitive to pupils and teachers’ needs, but combined the appropriate blend of challenge and supported risk-taking necessary for an outdoor activity trip.'
