us
By road from the A34 – turn off at the Hinksey
Hill junction (large roundabout above the A34 road)
and head for Wootton and Boars Hill on the minor
road. Turn right at the 1st junction towards Boars
Hill and the ‘Scout Camp’ is sign-posted
from there. The final mile is along a narrow road.
Access to various parts of Youlbury Campsite is
clearly sign-posted from the T-junction at the top
of the hill. For access from other directions, please
consult an OS or other reasonable large-scale map.
Youlbury is sign-posted as ‘Scout Camp’
from most of the main approach roads.
The final stretch is along a private residential
road and visitors are requested to drive with due
care and consideration.
Please note that it is not possible for double-decker
or hi-line coaches to drive onto the site. Please
check with the Warden if you are in any doubt about
your vehicle.
