Queen's Scout Reception - Leeds

Queens Scout Award

The next Queens Scout Award reception will be held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on the 13th of May 2006. The Deputy Chief Scout – Peter Nicol will present certificates at Leeds. If you put your name down to attend a National Presentation then you can expect a letter from us by the 25th of February. If you don’t receive a letter by then and you want to attend, get in touch with Aston Wood at Gilwell Park (0845 300 1818). Don’t worry if you can’t make the event in Leeds, there will be another Queen's Scout Reception in London later in the year.

The Royal ArmouriesGuests attending this reception will have the opportunity to look round the Museum before and after the ceremony.

In 2006 the Royal Armouries Museum is celebrating its first 10 years in Leeds. To celebrate, they are having an action-packed year of special events for all– including costumed demonstrations, games you can join in with, and live performances every day. They also have excellent educational facilities, and the museum would be a worthwhile visit for your Colony, Pack, Troop, Unit or Network.
