World Scout Jamboree

The 21st World Scout Jamboree took place this year at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex. It was the largest World Scout Jamboree and played a huge part in the Centenary celebrations for Scouting’s 100th Anniversary.

Sainsbury’s supported the event by setting up and running four supermarkets on the site. They catered for all 40,000 participants and the 80,000 day visitors. There were many products you would expect to find in any Sainsbury’s store as well as the more unusual such as digital picture celebration cakes!
