How to do it !
We have just been crate stacking at Gilwell Park. You have to pile crates on top of each other to make two towers.
We had two instructors, Flavien Dupoit and Celia Caibi. Flavien helped us to pile the crates on top of each other and climb onto them while Celia made sure the ropes were tight and we were safe.
What you need
What you needThe instructors provided the harness, ropes, helmets and lots of crates and we brought the banana (optional!) When we had our first go we had to make two towers. This was hard as the towers kept wobbling a lot. It was fun!!! Patrick got the record of the day! He got 17 crates up one side and 16 crates up the other side.
How we got on
On our second go, we had to climb up the side of the crates not standing on top of them as before. It was really tricky. We had to put our feet in the holes for handels and push down on one corner. Patrick did the best of all of us again with lots more than the rest of us. This one is if you really want a challenge.
