BEAVER SCOUT IMAGINATION BADGE

Kids TV channel, Jetix has recently signed up to sponsor the brand new Beaver Scout Imagination Badge.

Jetix, the home of Power Rangers, Spider-Man and Yin Yang Yo will be challenging Beavers to use the power of imagination to create their ultimate hero through fun and engaging activities.

Activities

A worksheet booklet will be available to colonies from summer and will contain creative and activity based tasks.

Activity 1
Imagine it's the 2010 - draw your ultimate futuristic hero. Beavers will be given a list of questions to help them think about their ultimate hero and some examples of heroes designs will be available at www.jetix.co.uk

Activity 2
Using a newspaper and/or magazine cut out words that you think describe your hero or words you think your hero would say.

Activity 3
Build your futuristic hero or hero vehicle from recyclable, household items. Beavers will be given a list of every day items they must apply their imagination to, to build their ultimate hero. Act out a short scenario where your hero might come to the rescue.

The top 5 hero creations will be showcased on the Jetix website, www.jetix.co.uk, for other kids to vote on. The most 'voted for' hero creation will win a heroic Jetix prize!
